0300 500 0914. There’s also a simple online form to register encounters with rough sleepers. In July 2017 the council announced a new partnership with Shelter to tackle the sharply rising problem of homelessness.

The ElephantandCastle.org.uk website, managed by the local developers, markets the forthcoming proposed local redevelopment of much of Elephant and Castle. As balance to this read and subscribe to local investigative campaign 35% who are pressing for redevelopment that benefits all, including genuinely affordable homes. They have a long track record of exposing some dubious dealing by Southwark Council and local developers.
